In an effort to prevent the loss of the Vineyard's native sandplain communities, the MBL (Marine Biological Laboratory) and The Nature Conservancy have launched an innovative restoration program on the Conservancy's newly-dedicated Bamford Preserve at Herring Creek Farm.
